Speculation has risen concerning rumors that Microsoft has their own version of Nintendo's Wii Remote in development. Including a rough sketch provided by the 'source' that looks eerily close to the device that millions of Wii fans have come to love. Only time will tell if this 'leak' has any validity.
Speaking of affection for Nintendo, this person clearly has a level of devotion bordering on jabbering insanity.

Following on the heels of our announcement of Defend your Castle for WiiWare, we're pleased to announce that we've been working with manufacturers and distributors to bring the Defend your Castle Arcade Machine to malls continent-wide.
This will enable us to reach a much larger audience than possible through the internet, affording players an unprecedented gameplay experience through the precise and highly intuitive 'Joystick' interface.

It's now official, XGen's upcoming...
It's now official, XGen's upcoming Nintendo WiiWare title is none other then a re-imagining of our much-loved classic game of medieval guardianship; Defend Your Castle.

It's official; the news from Game...
It's official; the news from Game Developer's Conference '08 is that Nintendo will launch their highly-touted WiiWare service on May 12th of this year. The gaming giant will now compete directly with Microsoft's XBox Live Arcade in the downloadable console game space.
What does this mean for XGen? We've got high hopes for our own WiiWare contribution which will be launching alongside WiiWare in May, keep checking here for updates and information to satisfy your curiosity before the release.

XGen Studios Announces Nintendo Developer Status, Upcoming WiiWare Title
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (January 16, 2008) -- XGen Studios Inc., acclaimed developer of browser-based games, revealed today that it is an authorized developer for Wii™, Nintendo's home console. XGen Studios is developing an original title for Nintendo's upcoming WiiWare™ service, slated for release alongside the platform in Early 2008.

Fight in the name of the light. Soar the heavens and smite the unholy from above; become the Paladin.
So many yearly lists come out around this time, but the only ones that I'm consistently interested in are the Darwin Awards; awarding those who volunteer to improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.
Some creative students use a brick wall to compose video game murals from chalk. Megaman, Metroid, Mario and Final Fantasy characters all recreated in pixel-precision, with some time-lapse videos included.
Happy New Year! Hope you guys had a great holiday, now we can all look forward to the many happy returns of 2008! Here's some cool panoramas if you missed the celebrations.
